Il film racconta gli ultimi trent'anni della Curva Nord dell’Atalanta, dal 1993 ad oggi, attraverso gli occhi di Claudio “Bocia” Galimberti, una delle figure più carismatiche degli ultras bergamaschi. Dagli scontri degli anni ‘90 al vortice della repressione che ha portato ai processi e al suo esilio da Bergamo, dalle migliaia di persone in trasferta al tentativo di trasformare il calcio in uno spettacolo orwelliano da seguire in Tv, fino ad arrivare agli spalti vuoti per il Covid. La storia senza tregua di una vita ribelle, dedicata ad una causa: la libertà di essere il granello di sabbia che blocca l’ingranaggio.

The film recounts the last thirty years of Atalanta's Curva Nord, from 1993 to the present day, through the eyes of Claudio “Bocia” Galimberti, one of the most charismatic figures among Bergamo's ultras. From the clashes of the 1990s to the whirlwind of repression that led to trials and his exile from Bergamo, from the thousands of people traveling to away games to the attempt to transform soccer into an Orwellian spectacle to be watched on TV, to the empty stands due to Covid.
